Dr. Thompson is the Director of DMX Imaging, is a Virginia native, receiving his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech in Health Education. He received an additional degree in Human Biology and his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1992 from the National University of Health Sciences in Illinois. His postgraduate education includes advanced certification from the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians along with extensive study in regenerative medicine cellular tissue therapies and in the diagnosis and care of sports and whiplash type injuries.

He has provided courtroom testimony in Loudoun and Fairfax counties on the validity and important of Digital Motion Fluoroscopic X-ray with computerized digitization measurement analysis in establishing an accurate diagnosis in ligamentous injuries on the cervical spine.
